Country music performer Craig Campbell is returning to Salem to headline the 2025 Star-B-Q concert at the Salem Farmers Market on Thursday, May 15. Campbell is the latest recording artist to play this show since its inception in 2007. In past years, the event has welcomed the likes of Clint Black, Billy Currington, Lauren Alaina, Montgomery Gentry, Maddie and Tae, and Jordan Davis.

Campbell grew up in the small city of Lyons, Georgia and he is no stranger to Salem. In 2012, he played the pregame concert for that’s year’s Stagg Bowl football game at Salem Stadium. Then in August of 2017, Campbell headlined an incredibly entertaining concert at the Salem Farmers Market.

Campbell’s “Keep Them Kisses Comin”, “Fish” and “Family Man” are three of his biggest hits and critics and fans alike consider him one of the most talented, yet underrated performers across all genres of music. His live shows are full of high energy and excitement.

He will be joined in Salem by fan favorite Pat Pollifrone who graduated from Salem High School in 2008 and was a defensive star of the Spartans football team. He began taking music seriously once he formed a band during his time at Marshall University, and he always enjoys performing for the hometown crowd.

A special thank you goes out to the good folks at 94.9 Star Country for sticking with the city and making this show a reality. The 2024 Star-B-Q concert, that was scheduled for last September, was postponed due to bad weather, and we are thrilled we can bring it back to the Market this May.

No animals, skateboards, or coolers are allowed, but adult beverages will be for sale from P.A. Short. This marks the 17th edition of Star B-Q, the city’s very own Country Music and BBQ concert, featuring great food and amazing music at an incredible price.
