Father's Day

The third Sunday of June is this weekend. That means it’s time for Father’s Day. If you are a procrastinator, like most of us, you haven’t found a gift yet. That is where we come in; here is a detailed plan to give Dad the best day ever.

Breakfast

Take Dad to a nice breakfast at his favorite spot. Some local favorites include Mac and Bobs, Our Daily Bread, Famous Anthony’s, the Pancake House, and the Omelet Shoppe. Salem is also home to breakfast staples like IHOP, Denny’s, and Waffle House.

Buy a New Grill

After Dad has eaten his fill of breakfast foods, go get him a new grill. Depending on how serious about grilling he is, you can take him to Lowe’s, Northwest True Value Hardware, or Tailgaters United.

Get to Grilling

After he gets his new grill all set up, get fresh meat from O’Brien Meats. Then spend the day with him while he cooks a delicious dinner.

Bonus

Have a photo of you framed from the Frame Connection. It is sure to be the topper on the perfect day for Dad.
