Youth / Teen Programs

Students will learn and improve on baton twirling skills, participate in six local parades; as well as other community events throughout the year. There is also an end-of-year recital.

• When: Thursdays at 5:30 pm beginning September 8th, 2022
• Location: Salem Senior Center, 110 Union Street
• Cost: $50 per month (additional cost will be a baton and a costume)
• Instructor: Natasha Flores, Southernettes Baton Corp

Students will learn and improve on baton twirling skills, participate in six local parades as well as other community events throughout the year, and perform in an end-of-the year recital. The Southernettes Baton Corp is dedicated to providing a safe, fun and creative atmosphere in which athletes not only learn twirling skills, but they build confidence and leadership skills through team commitment. If you have a child that is serious about tennis, you might be interested in a new program started by Steven Willinger, head boys tennis coach at Salem High School. It is the new "Tennis Up" program. It is a pilot program to prepare future Spartans for competitive tennis.

45 minute classes, twice a week at Salem High School for 3 weeks beginning June 22. Cost of the program is $20 per child with scholarships available.
